What’s the difference in shafts?
Shafts are made out of different metals or composite materials. The type of metal or the type of composite material will determine the strength & durability of the shaft. The higher the level of play, the higher the level of shaft that you need. Most shafts come with a 6 month replacement manufacturer’s warranty.
What determines the difference in price between products?
This is a hard question for us to answer, as there are a lot of different & complicated reasons for pricing. Simply put, it is the cost of manufacturing, research & design, marketing and logistics all have a part in why some older products might be less expensive than newer products.
How should I get my head strung?
This is totally up to the player. Lots of variations, but if you don’t have any ideas, we can help with your stringing options. We suggest you read about stringing options on the internet or ask someone on your team for suggestions.
What does whip mean?
This refers to the how tight or loose your shooter strings are tied in the head. The tighter the shooters, the more whip it will have. The more whip a head or pocket has, the lower the ball will travel as it is being released out of the head/pocket. Beginners should go with less whip, more advanced players can handle more whip in the head.
What do you mean by pocket location?
This refers to where the ball sits in the mesh pocket of the head. You can have a high pocket, normal pocket or a low pocket. Again, this is based on player preference. When in doubt go with a normal pocket location and depth.
How long will it take to get my head back if I leave it for you guys to string?
We normally try to have our stringers turn around string requests in 2-3 business days, but during busy times of the year and on some instances it may take 5 days or more.
Which training tool in your store will best help me or my child with their game?
We recommend players looking to ramp up their skills to pick up a rebound lax wall. Pair that up with a backyard goal and a shooting target & you will be on your way to advance status.

How much does it cost to get outfitted to start lacrosse?
